Demographic development, a shortage of skilled workers and economic pressure will continue to pose immense challenges for care in the future. These can only be tackled by incorporating digital approaches. So that innovative solutions can now be integrated more quickly into nursing practice, they must be promoted by regulation. Only then can digital potential be consistently used in care.
