VRalive

VRalive is a deep tech start-up in digital healthcare, developing a reimbursable VR activation tool for home care. For more than five years, we have been building virtual reality solutions specifically for older people in need of care, tested in practice in research and pilot projects. Our VR tool motivates people to move and engage in everyday activities, strengthens independence and noticeably relieves care workers and relatives. Our goal is to establish the first virtual reality-based digital care application (DiPA) in Germany and to bring it into care at scale via DiPA reimbursement by the long-term care insurance funds, together with care services. Behind VRalive is an interdisciplinary team that combines XR product and technology expertise with scientific know-how and solid regulatory and reimbursement experience in the care market.
